When a person is asked, "What do you want to do when you retire?" the goal at or near the top of everyone's list is "travel".

That's why travel for seniors and retirees is what we are all about.  We are active seniors, too, and we view these journeys as an opportunity to share our passion for travel with friends, old and new.

We want to make your travel dreams an affordable reality!

Our Business

We are a small, family owned company. We have been helping people realize their travel dreams for more than 40 years.

Our name is Senior Getaways because we focus on active seniors 55+ who enjoy an active social life.

WE OPERATE ONLY A FEW TRIPS EACH YEAR.  Many great travel opportunities tempt us, however, we choose to stay a small business to make every trip personal.

Who We Are

Monte Neece has been organizing and escorting groups for more than 40 years!  Our first group was a college spring break ski trip in 1975.

During more than 20 years with a major airline, Monte escorted many groups to every part of the globe.  In 1990, Monte and his wife Lydia formed London Theater Tours and, for 12 years, organized dozens of trips to London and throughout Europe.

Recognizing an opportunity to bring quality, affordable travel to seniors, Monte now focuses on travel for the active seniors of North Texas. We are now in our sixth year of this latest travel adventure!
